Who We Are
THE WORKS Personal Training Studio is 2500sf of personal training space filled with top of the line free weights, kettle bells, and machines and cardio equipment by Star Trac and Human Sport.
Founded by Jennifer Searles, NASM CPT, we offer one on one personal training, small group training, nutrition consulting with our on-site Registered Dietician, and lifestyle coaching. Jennifer is an IFBB Figure professional with over 20 years of experience as a trainer and educator, who has a true passion for what she teaches. She has garnered 2 top 10 finishes in two consecutive IFBB Figure Olympias, is the first ever IFBB Motor City Pro Figure Champion, is a published author and fitness model and holds 6 different certifications through 3 different nationally recognized fitness organizations.
Her passion for making people feel and look their best has led her to opening a space where she can teach other trainers to share the wealth with people looking to change their bodies and more importantly, their lives. All Works Personal Trainers are certified through either NASM or NSCA and have been personally led by Jennifer to teach and implement her system.

We strive to help motivate and educate individuals to help equip them with the necessary tools to succeed in whatever fitness goal they wish to attain. Through sound techniques and proven methods, we aim to guide every client through their individual process of attaining the body and wellness they desire. We will be there through every step of the way teaching, motivating and applauding each and every milestone our clients reach. We will assess your needs and habits in order to design a program that will work for you and help you get your body to it's best condition possible. We will chart your progress through constant monitoring and motivate you to keep going when the going gets tough! If this were an easy journey, more people would be in the best shape of their lives. And this IS a journey... one that we're very excited to help guide you through!

What to expect during your complimentary consultation and workout:
During your initial consultation you will meet with one of our Works trainers to discuss your medical history, training habits and goals. This will help us get a better idea as to what's really going on. You and your trainer will also discuss tips and relevant training strategies during the consultation. We want you to ask questions as well, so write them down and bring them with you!
After you and your trainer have discussed your goals, you will be led through a fun and informative 30 minute training session to assess weaknesses, strengths and likes/dislikes so that your trainer can effectively map out a plan of attack for you going forward.
After your session is through your trainer will talk to you about taking things a step further. THE WORKS offers a variety of training packages to fit every need. Please visit our SERVICES page to see what we offer.
Should you decide to sign on with us to help you, you will then be asked to schedule your first meeting with our on-site Registered Dietician. During your nutrition meeting, you and your nutritionist will discuss current eating patterns, take measurements (body fat, circumference and many others), and go over a viable eating plan that's customized to your body, your habits, and your goals. You will be held accountable by weekly visits to your nutritionist (included in every personal training package)
Wanna lose weight? We'll keep you moving. Wanna gain strength? We'll focus on lifting weights.... Whatever your goals are, your trainer will put you through a customized workout that will get you on your way to achieving those goals, and your nutritionist will keep you accountable with diet… with us, we make sure you get THE WORKS!!!
